+ Purpose
Responsible for developing high-quality software, reviewing and debugging
code as well as providing technical guidance, mentorship and project
management expertise to deliver successful software solutions.
+ Key Responsibilities
● Develop high-quality software design and architecture
● Identify, prioritise, and execute tasks in the software development life
cycle
● Produce clean and efficient code
● Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
● Review and debug code
● Perform validation and verification testing
● Mentoring and guiding the development of software engineering
artefacts
+ Qualifications and Experience
● Extensive experience in Python is essential
● Strong knowledge of and experience using APIs
● Strong systems integration experience● Solid experience in cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
● Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices
● Data engineering experience (store and retrieve unstructured data
types and ability to work with big data)
● Machine learning experience advantageous
● Enthusiasm for exploring and evaluating new technologies
