What this role entails
● Design and build applications for iOS and OS X.
● Design and build Android applications using Kotlin or Java and Android SDK
● Collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, and project managers to deliver
high-quality products.
● Testing the application using tools such as Espresso, JUnit, Mockito, etc.
● Design and implement user interfaces using Android components such as views,
layouts, widgets, fragments, activities, etc.
● Work with external data sources and APIs using libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp,
Volley, Gson, etc.
● Manage data storage and retrieval using options such as Firebase Realtime Database,
SQLite, Room, etc.
● Create and handle notifications using services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging or
WorkManager.
● Follow security best practices to protect the app and its data from unauthorized access
or malicious attacks.
● Work on bug fixing and improving application performance using tools such as Firebase
Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Remote Config, or Cloud Functions.
What we are looking for
● Proven software development experience and Android skills development
● Has published at least one original Android App.
● Experience in Android App Development with Kotlin or Java programming language
● Experience in Mobile App Development with Android SDK and Android Studio
● Experience working with remote data via REST APIs
● Experience with third-party libraries and APIs● Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and
emerging technologies.
● Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
● Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior developers.
● Fluent English Communication Skills
